NAB AFL AUSKICK IN ACTION
Auskickers can experiment with all sorts of cool gear. Softer footballs are easier to mark (catch), round balls are easier to kick, and colourful cones, hoops and bibs keep things fun - check it out!
PARENTS AND FAMILIES
A PROGRAM FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Auskick isn’t just a program for kids - it’s for parents to get involved too! We’re all about families on the field together, having fun learning and celebrating those footy ‘firsts’ with their Auskickers. It’s super easy to help out, even if you’re not familiar with footy.

ACTIVITIES
EVERY SESSION IS STACKED WITH ACTIVITIES
From Handball Heroes to Ruckman’s Treasure, Auskick activities give kids the chance to practice multiple skills at once - and have heaps of fun doing it! These games keep the sessions active and the kids engaged, allowing them to build their confidence both on and off the field.

EQUIPMENT AND GEAR
NO NEED TO BUY ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR GEAR
There’s no set uniform for Auskick sessions - we encourage everyone to wear whatever they like! Lots of Auskickers like to wear their AFL team’s colours. It’s all about being comfortable and getting the most out of the sessions, so wear what works for you!

MORE ABOUT AUSKICK
We do have some girls only centres and some centres that run girls only groups. You can search for the centres nearest you on the Find an Auskick centre page, or get in touch with our customer service team at aflauskick@afl.com.au and we’ll be happy to help you find one.
We have many centres that have listed themselves as access all abilities. You can search for the centres nearest you on the Find an Auskick centre page, or get in touch with our customer service team at aflauskick@afl.com.au and we’ll be happy to help you find one.
Every Auskick centre has a coordinator who runs the administration side, and every age group has a main coach and helper coaches. We encourage all parents/guardians to get involved as Activity Helpers - no experience necessary!
Sure can! We’re pleased to offer the first session of every program for free (subject to that centre’s capacity and COVID requirements) to trial Auskick before registering. Just make sure you chat to the centre coordinator before the session starts to let them know you’re there to try it out.
For any community/club Auskick centres, an adult needs to be present for your Auskicker’s whole session. We love all parents/guardians to join in, so why not get involved in your child’s group? No experience necessary!
